Thinkin’ Bout You

This is Baby Ali in another shot from my Bottomless Series.  She has been bejeweled on her face neck and wrist by our makeup artist, Angelica Bates.  Both Baby Ali and Angelica did a great job creating a uniquely beautiful vision for me to capture.  I often say, don’t be distracted by the sexy, and try to focus on the beauty.  Let me know what you think.

Forbidden Fruit 1.0

Some have wondered how Eve could get Adam so interested in an apple that his actions would change the entire course of history for mankind.  I think that Jamisha has created an interesting image on how a small apple can create such a big impact!  This was a great shoot and Jamisha is an amazing model.  She makes it easy to create great images. This is the first in the Forbidden Fruit series.  Let me know what you think.

If You Don’t Know Me By Now (The Disa Mix)

If you didn’t know, Mandisa is a very versatile model. She is a bit of a chameleon.  In this part of the shoot she wanted to play on the dark side of the light.  I love the creative chemistry that we share. I find that I get much better shots from my models when I allow them to just be themselves.  Once they understand that I respect the value that they bring to the shoot and include them in the creative process when are both better prepared to create something special.  Let us know what you think!

Keep It Hot

The model is Mandisa.  She is perfection.  This was an experimental shot.  I introduced a little HDR in the edit process.  I am developing my artistic techniques because I want my images to have a little more personality than just flat photos.  I am still in the process of progress.  I hope that you enjoy the journey.  Let me know what you think.

Candy (7″ Version)

This is Tottianna. A beautiful new face here at BlackBox Visions Photography.  Tottianna is full of energy and excitement.  In this shot she wanted to do a new-aged pin-up shot.  It a very simple shot but Tottianna has a way of adding the flavor.  I call this shot Candy (7″ Version) because it reminds me of the extended remix of Candy by Cameo.  If you haven’t noticed, I name most of my work after songs that mean a lot to me.  In this shot Tottianna is pure Candy, the extended remix!!!
