Today is one of those days where I just don’t feel well. It’s not so unusual, not for anyone, but being in a chair has its own special “gifts” that can cause one to need to just rest or better yet, go see the doctor!
But, as I said, everyone has reasons and issues that could prevent them from pressing forward.
Today I have the opportunity to do a wonderful concert shoot with an amazing group, Mint Condition. I have been their exclusive photographer for the past three years when they perform here in Atlanta. This is a wonderful opportunity.
I love music and I loved the music of Mint Condition YEARS before I became a photographer. So to be able to not only attend one of their concerts, but to be selected by them to photograph their concert is beyond amazing!!!
So, yes I’m going out today to do my best work for my client, just as I always do. I’m blessed to have the opportunity to be a photographer and I plan to become one of the very best ever!!!
I refuse to make excuses, or to focus on what I can’t do. Instead, I’m going out today to make history and do what I do better than anyone else! Lol, how many successful concert photographers do you know that are in a wheelchair? My answer to that question is “not enough!”
So, let me get up and go out to be the example for some little “disabled” boy or girl who wants to be great at something they think is impossible!!!
Dare to be great in your own life today!!!
