Huneybee & Zo know how to create magic in a photo shoot. Their style and passion is their signature. I love the way they allow the camera to be the “fly on the wall” during their sessions. Individually they both are gifted models but together they are unparalleled. I very seldom have to give them any direction because their instincts are always on point. This shot was taken in their first photo shoot together in the Visions Studio. I love the this couple and their “Appetite.”

I started working on this shot about 3 months ago, maybe a little longer. I was playing around with a couple of Zo’s (Alfonso Smith) images and I decided that I wanted to create a cool composite. So I started with the two photos of Zo. I cleaned them up and positioned them in a way that I thought was really nice, but then I ran out of time. I new that this was going to take a little while to do because it was my first attempt at creating a composite like this. I had the idea almost a year ago but just kept procrastinating, saying I’ll get to it. Actually, my original idea was based on a shoot I did with Zo and a few other models in an old abandoned Lazy-Boy showcase spot my friend Scooter gave us access to. They had this big wall that had several cubby holes or box like shelves that we just big enough for the models to climb in. I took all the shots I need to create what I had envisioned, I just haven’t gotten around to doing it yet.
But anyway, I started this project then put it on the shelf for a few months, until yesterday. Yesterday I had a very productive shoot with a new model (Michelle.) Today, while I was looking at some of she shots I started trying to picture her in the Zo project. So, I went to work on it. I had already completed two other very nice images today to I said, why stop now! This is what I cam up with. If you notice one of the images of Zo is looking at Michelle when she is on the floor and the other Zo is looking at the other Michelle. Pretty cool given the fact that we shot the to models months apart. Let me know what you think!
Remain blessed,
Nat Carter
