I know everyone thinks that their child is the most amazing, beautiful, doll in the world. Entering your child in baby beauty contest, it’s not a problem…well it didn’t use to be. Now, we have these shows “Princess’ in Tiaras” and everything else that just prove how ridiculous the world has become!
There is NO reason that a four-year-old should have on make-up, a fake butt and 3 inch heels! Need I repeat a FOUR-year-old! Yes your baby is cute, but she does not need to be prancing around in make-up and heels with a fake butt! That is the reason half of these females are the way that they are now. You have her thinking that she is the best thing since sliced bread and the coldest thing since milk in a carton, cussing you out on public television. That ain’t cute! The older she gets the worst it will get, believe or not, you’ll see what I mean soon.
Let’s be honest when your four-year-old child is cussing and screaming at you, telling you how they don’t like their hair and demanding that you undo what you just did and redo it; when she’s eight she’ll threaten you and have a knife at your throat until you redo her make-up and buy her a new dress cause she changed her mind and no longer likes it! Be a fool now if you want to. Or stand up to your child! (Unless she learned her ways from you?!) Honestly, there are folks that aren’t on television that could use this suggestion.
You create your child, your child learns and picks up on every detail and aspect of what he/she is around. Hopefully, your child doesn’t watch these shows. There are ways and then there are ways. Your baby can be beautiful and fashionable without being a stuck up demon! The way these “princess’” scream I view them as hideous. At the age of four a pageant should be fun…not a real competition. The competition part comes in with the parents, which is why it’s their fault that these children act the way that they do! The fact that they see nothing wrong with it…makes it all the more pitiful!
I remember being in pageants and contest and ’til this day my mouth and attitude aren’t as awful as these kids today. My momma would’ve backhanded me so fast I would’ve spun around the world and back in 2.5 seconds! And upon arrival back, I better not speak a word! Oh well. As far as I am concerned beauty should be fun and influential. I absolutely do not understand the meaning of these crazy shows, to make the parents look foolish, maybe?Am I the only one that thinks it is ridiculous?
Really, since when did the child beauty pageant and baby contest industry become harshly competitive instead of fun and a learning experience? And why?
Prison Sentence

Conrad Murray is sentenced to four years in jail??? What message does this send? Do we really believe that this was involuntary? Why are people getting these slaps on the wrist these days? Oh, because jails are “overcrowded.”
The fact that we keep throwing out that jails are overcrowded is why everyone is killing, because they KNOW that they will not remain in jail long if at all! In this case we all know that Murray will serve all of 1.5 to 2 years in prison and be out roaming! However if it was a typical doctor that works in the Emergency Room, he would be under the jail or on death row. Heck, a drug dealer that has never murdered (or at least a murder can’t be proven) receives a more severe sentence than Murray was handed. This disturbs me as much as the Coach Paterno situation. Individuals need to be held accountable for their decisions and mistakes. Any average citizen has to be held accountable, why not those of fame who should be setting better examples for those who idolize them?
This man could not have cared about his patient if he had the time to record his death on a cell phone. He knew what he was doing, it was no accident and the fact that he lied about it, ruins his character. He does not belong in the medical/health care profession at all. The way that he practiced profession cause a life to be taken and I do believe that he hasn’t shed a genuine tear about it since the occurrence.
Luckily, he wasn’t given probation. If that would have been the outcome, I would not have been shocked. What type of criminal justice system does America have not holding people accountable. Murray took a life, regardless of how it is twisted, the outcome is the same. He needs to serve ALL FOUR years in state prison. Giving special treatment to the well known and famous has got to stop!
Do you believe that this murder was intentional? Do you feel that he should serve all four years of his sentence? Should a more severe punishment have been given?
