Send Me (AKA The Business)

I truly love this image! It’s simple and clean. Ej gave me the perfect “look”, the energy was just as it should have been.  The B&W adds a classic feel to the shot and the splash of color is the proverbial icing on the cake  I really enjoy this shot.  Thanks to Ej Allure for delivering once again.  Feel free to share your opinion.

Thanks,

Nat Carter

Why the Constant Need for Recognition?

Why the Constant Need for Recognition?

Author: Tif

Why does everyone need to be told constantly how good of a parent they are?? Why do you need shout outs through the media?

All I hear on the radio and see on social media is people wanting praise for doing WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED to be doing. You made the child; laid on you back…or rode on top! So take care of the child!!! It’s called responsibility! If you’re taking care of your business then YOUR child will tell you how much they love you and how great of a parent you are without though and coaching.

Being on the radio, Facebook and/or Twitter talking about I should get an award, I need a shout out, tell me how wonderful I am…that’s nonsense! Many people were and are single parents, but hell, my momma ’til this day ain’t never asked for no award or shout out or “bragged” for exposure! It’s called grow up and take responsibility, handle yours! Whether it was a blessing or an accident…or both, if the child came from you, out of you, or what have you changing diapers and wiping behind, feeding your kids THREE meals a day and a snack, providing clothing and shelter and then some is what your duties are. The reward is a safe, educated, loved and happy child!!!

Unless I’m confused, there were other options to having the child. Now, maybe some beliefs or religion stood in the way however, it is a sin to have sex before marriage so…maybe religion and beliefs weren’t in the way of decision. Either way quit blasting all over the place that you’re a single mother and need recognition, awards, shout outs,  this that and the other…what you need is to spend that time hugging and teaching your child or making money. You knew before you hopped on the bed or the car or wherever with your clothes off and legs open that you were about to sex a person that A. didn’t want a child B. wasn’t mature C. didn’t have steady income D. can’t handle responsibilities E. would rather run the streets  or F. ALL OF THE ABOVE. So why do you choose to share this with the world and just make yourself look silly?????

All in all, your recognition is mothers day and/or fathers day…and any other day of the week that your child chooses to share how great you are and how much they love you with you…if they don’t you have work to do!

Am I wrong, or is the whole aspects of blasting, shout outs, awards & recognition getting a little extreme when people are only doing what they should be doing????
